Growing up in Brooklyn NY, Chef Seth was surrounded by culinary influences from around the world, all within a stones throw away from his home in Sheepshead Bay. After realizing his passion for cooking at the age of 14, he spend his school breaks traveled around the country, working in a variety of restaurants, hotels & catering venues. After taking some time to travel abroad after high school, he enrolled at the former French Culinary Institute on Manhattans lower east side where he studied French cuisine and did a prestigious apprenticeship in molecular gastronomy under Chef Nils Noren, 2 Michelin star chef of Aquavit and David Arnold, founder of the Museum of Food & Drink. After graduating, Chef Seth refining his skills at the Jean Georges Restaurant ABC Kitchen located in Union Square, then at the famed Daniel Humm restaurant, three Michelin Starred Eleven Madison Park, named best restaurant in the world By San Pellegrino’s 50 Best List 2017.
Chef Seth made the tough decision to move to the capital region with his family after his apprenticeship at EMP. After being on the road for several years as a corporate executive chef, Chef Seth found his niche in the luxury senior living sector of the food service industry, where he has been able to apply his honed skillset to elevated senior dining. By applying the principles of Culinary Medicine, Chef Seth is not only able to cook an eclectic menu, but also nutritionally dense, seasonal, and locally grown foods to promote an overall state of physical and mental wellness for his residents and clients.
Additionally, Chef Seth is available for culinary consultations, private event planning, food service operations consultations, recipe development and cooking classes.
